VALORANT: Riot releases schedule for the second stage of the VCT BR

The second stage of VALORANT Challengers Brazil had its calendar released in the late afternoon of this Tuesday (3). The tournament will be attended by ten teams and will be played in person between May 14 and June 26.

VALORANT Challengers Brazil will consist of two groups of five teams in each in the first phase. With matches being played in MD3 and in a free-for-all format, the top three teams advance to the playoffs. In each round, one team from each of the groups has a break.

The playoffs will be played in a double-elimination format and the matches will also be in MD3. The finals of the upper, lower and grand finals will be in MD5.

The first weekend of competition will be on the 14th and 15th of May – Saturday and Sunday. The competition continues in this format of two matches a week until June 12, when the first phase games end. The final phase will start on the 21st of June and will end, crowning the grand champion, on the 15th of May.

The second stage of VALORANT Challengers Brazil will feature 10 teams in search of victory and a total prize pool of R$ 405 thousand. Of these, BRL 100,000 goes to first place and BRL 75,000 to the team that takes second place.
