VALORANT: Player loses game on purpose and ranks up anyway

Reddit user VentiTheArrow posted a video showing a rather strange bug involving VALORANT ranked match points. In the clip, the player intentionally loses a game 13-2 and still receives a large number of points, which makes him move up a link.

As soon as the game ends, you can see that, even without dealing any damage to enemies or using a single skill during the entire game, VentiTheArrow receives points and increases in elo. Despite having purposely played poorly, the user managed to climb from Diamond 3 to Immortal 1.

In the comments of the post on Reddit, players could not understand exactly what happened and came to the conclusion that the points received were the result of a bug in VALORANT. Normally, when being defeated in a ranked match, the user loses MMR points, which did not happen in this case.

As this is a possible bug, it is very likely that Riot Games will fix the bug in the next game update. Abusing glitches like this in VALORANT can result in account punishment.
