VALORANT: Neon will be disabled in the first VCT Qualifier in Brazil

The new Neon agent arrived at VALORANT last Tuesday (11), but she will not be able to be used in the first qualifier of VCT 2022 due to the proximity of its launch with the start of the official games. Despite this, the character will be enabled for the main event in February.

The matches of the first open qualifier start this Wednesday (12), just one day after the launch of the agent. Because of this, Riot chose not to release the character in the open and closed qualifiers, which take place until January 23. As the main event will only be held in February, Neon will be enabled.

Even outside of Brazil’s first qualifiers, viewers will be able to see Neon in action in professional VALORANT matches before February even begins. That’s because the agent will be eligible for the VCT qualifiers in North America, South Korea and Japan, which start to be played on January 25th.
